jtstang= not an SMU season ticket holder ($$$)
jtstang= not a member of the SMU Mustang Club ($$)

Inane:

What do you care anyway? FYI, I go to every football hame game and try to go at least one away game every season. I spend my money wisely and in proportion to the return on my investment.

Can you verify that you are a contributor in all of the ways you asked me? Never mind, an @sshole like you flaunting his wealth has never impressed me. But good luck to you with it.

My comment wasn't directed at you personally jstang, but to your comment, which implied ALL posters on here want success for SMU. I don't think that's the case. Sorry you took it otherwise.

Wow jtstang a bit touchy? I can assure you I am by no means wealthy. In fact you being an attorney probably make more than I do. I just always find a way to support my Mustangs instead of almost bragging about trying to mooch off everyone else. It's all about choices. By the way I don't think you are an azzhole and am happy you are an SMU fan.

No problem. But I think pretty much everybody on here except the obvious trolls from NTSU and the like, want SMU to succeed, Inane included.

It must be August when the usual Cheerleaders can get up on their podium and denounce every fan that doesn't grade the team on the usual SMU cheerleaders curve. Why do you care if I post a factual argument based upon the factors you all know I find the most persuasive in evaluating and concluding that SMU's talent level is not yet sufficient to allow the team to compete for Bowls and Championship. I'd suggest you stick to making a rational argument in support of your conclusions rather than crying about how Stallion and jtstang are purposely deriding the SMU program. No I'm not-it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone based on my recruiting reports over the last 5 years that I truly believe SMU still has a long way to go in the talent department to be a bowl and championship caliber team. And I believe those key indicators have been a reliable predictor of SMU performance for about 20 years. Many of you are so invested with own [deleted] without anty real rational argument to support your ridiculous predictions. I don't grade on the SMU curve. 99% of you do. See you in September.

as a Tech fan raised in an SMU household I too hope that SMU starts filling Ford really soon...it's a great stadium and a fun place to go to a ballgame. Sorry if I was fanning the flames by posting the expansion, just responding to the original...

Here's to hoping that SMU can fill Ford just like that picture from before!!!

Sorry Stallion I prefer to follow the June Jones/Steve Orsini way.

Are they "cheerleaders"?

Orsini/Jones don't need to highlight every possible negative about SMU like you and your other buddies from the doom and gloom platoon.

Is it horribly odd to be a "cheerleader" for the team you love?

Is it horribly odd to maybe not always dwell on the negative concerning the team you love?

June gets two million a year to make football decisions....how much do you get to make football decisions? Pretending you know more than June Jones when he named BLM the QB starter or put BJ Lee at the wide receiver position.

I am sure you'll get a few more jollies as June implements his system and then when we're alot better your doom & gloom platoon can say "yeah but we're still not as good as Ohio State!"

See ya in September? What...are you not going to Rice either?

Inane, you really are the biggest sunshiner there is. Who was right for the last 20 years, the sunshiners or the realists?

Wow jtSTEER I don't think that is true, but boy what an honor that would be!

"Hey man...you're tooo positive".....LOL....yeah what an insult!

Right? Personally I think sunshine is almost always better than darkness. You say I am a "Sunshiner", but that does not equate to me thinking we will win any more games than we are expected to win this year. Do you think Orsini and June Jones think we'll be in the Sugar Bowl this year? But they also don't dewll on the negative all the time like the doom & gloom platoon. Sunshine does not equate to unrealistic, it means not working for the law firm of Sourman, Bitterman, & Angrystein like you and Stallion appear to. Yeah it's real brave to have "no expectations"....wow....thats really going out on a limb! I suppose we'll see you in September instead of August too!

Yeah, and how many are we "expected" to win this year sunshine?

Come to think of it, how many were we "expected" to win last year susnshine? Did we make it? I guess "no expectations" was closer to reality than your pie in the sky sunshinism. It has been for 20 years now.
