How many fans did we have at the 2006 bowl game on the line at Rice showdown? I was really shocked at the number of SMU fans we had there. There were moments in the game that you could actually classify the SMU cheering as a slight "roar" at some points. Really an awesome day to be an SMU fan(except for the whole blowing the game thing. But other than that, pretty great day.).

Right after the 2006 game, somebody posted a picture of our cheering section. Pretty impressive. I heard the figure of 3,000 for that game.

Wish I could be down there for that. But missing the Rice band is a benefit.
