I do remember going into Virginia Hall from the side entrance, (back when alcohol was allowed in the dorms) to get a drink even though Virginia Hall was on fire at the time and the UP fire truck had blocked the front entrance. I was 38 before I realized how stupid that was.

Stripes on the sleeves are totally unnecessary. Makes the uniform too busy looking...sort of like wearing a striped shirt with plaid pants.jtstang wrote:The blue jersey is the right color because it matches the end zones, PK notwithstanding. The black socks need to go away too. After seeing the uniforms, I can definitely see JJ's hand in their selection...just look at the clothes he wears...it all makes sense now. Actually it is rather amazing that they are wearing socks.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I agree. Get rid of the stripes one the jerseys and unis are just about perfect. I would even settle for making some of white stripes red on the blue jersey and some of the red ones blue on the white jersey.
