Their refusal to play on Sundays makes them less attractive (NCAA hoops tourney issue), but I've always thought BYU and Utah would be logical expansion targets if the PAC-10 ever decides to go to the 12 school format, complete with championship game

Most of the press out here on the West Coast say Colorado is a more likely candidate than Utah....that could bode very well for TCU.

Have to be impressed with MWC. In one day, they got 4 wins against BCS opponents. We have gotten 1 win in our entire history.

This is year 3 of the Big 10 lifting up its collective skirt to everybody in college football.

1. Buckeyes were pathetic and turned into babies in the second half against USC. Show some courage!
2. Michigan is about as bad as it has been in 40 years.
3. Illinois has to cover an onside kick just to hang on to a win over a directional school.
4. Wisconsin is boring.
5. Minnesota is ridiculous in its win over a I-AA school.
6. Iowa is the worst 3-0 team in the country.
7. Northwestern is Northwestern.
8. Michigan St. lost to Cal -- what does that say?
9. Purdue just coughs one up to Oregon.
10. Indiana could be playing better basketball than football? WTH.
11. Penn St. is the only one that looks halfway decent.

I'm sick of it. This conference better get its [deleted] together.

It's not so much the polls as it has been how the conference has fared in big non-conference and bowl games in the last 3 years. It's been a huge letdown.

But you're right about the Pac 10. What's going on with them. Arizona St. flops to UNLV? Cal folds at Maryland?

At least, the Pac 10 has one star program. Can't say the same about the Big 10.

As an aside, the Trojans speed on defense is ridiculous. They could win a national championship because of that. And keep giving the ball to McKnight. I love that kid.
