SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

The last time we beat the frogs, we had red jerseys on, and
it is a better contrast to their purple and black.

Blue jerseys!--and you are right about the TCU black pants, it is not one of their school colors. It's stupid.

Yeah...SMU's school colors are...red, white and blue. Don't even get me started...oops...too late.

Those TCU SUCKS shirts are real original and classy. If nothing else comes to mind, just say "SUCKS" - Hey! Just like middle school. How about a shirt with an "SMU" imprint? Just a thought.

Nope, don't think so
My Dad's 49 Rotunda on page 486, and 487 show a wide screen picture
showing the "Leaders of the Herd" including #37 wearing bright fire
engine cardinal red jerseys
They also have the same color helmets, so with our white helmets with
red trim we need to wear BLUE

A witty response to this would be if SMU fans decided that the TCU sucks shirts were classless, and then made SMU shirts saying "SMU Doesn't Suck!"
I think that'd be funny
