No I right now I say there has been modest improvement in recruiting. I think SMU gave too many scholarships out to marginal Division 1A athletes last year. I was referring to the product on the field. I predicted 3 wins-right now I think it would probably have to be a pretty big upset to win a single Division 1A victory out of this bunch. But I expect improvement on defense as the season goes on-so we'll see.

Given the current situation, I only expect 1 or 2 more wins, which will most likely be UTEP and Memphis. I thought Tulane would be a lock, but they played tough against E. Carolina and now I am not near as confidant, especially if TCU puts the hurt to us.

I am giving JJ and crew the first six games to learn. I believe the improvement will be seen in the last six games in the season. I am seeing some improvement. Basically for the most part he is playing with PB's players. This is a marathon not a sprint.
