Personal observations from the dome...Tulane fans suck. Not only in numbers but they are rude and obnoxious. The pony fans, though small in number were awesome. We were all very disappointed about the first half but you could feel the change when we had the game on the line. The players walked over to the sidelines with thier heads down, but the small crowd cheared them so loudly that you could physically see the change in thier demeanor. I wish every pony fan had been there to see it.

This is a different team than you saw against TCU, get ready for it.

I sure hope so!! I went to the TCU game and left with my head down- not because of the score but because our team seemed to show little effort and enthusiasm. They did not seem to have any 'fire in the belly' to really win. Very disappointing.

GO PONIES!!!

Don't want to burst any bubbles by saying the obvious but SMU looked better against Tulane vis a vis TCU because TCU is so much better than Tulane.

Talent wise we match up with Tulane. No tackling, dropped passes, immaturity in key positions. This is why we lost.

Don't draw any conclusions that SMU is better from what you saw at Tulane.

Stay within 7 against UCF and I'll say re-building is happening.

Continue to lose to like talented teams and get blown out by better talent and we are still in the ditch.
