I don't know if we should be making fun of present/former/pretending NFL scouts...our senior guys need as many forgiving eyes to get to the next level as they can get. Just a thought.

I never thought I'd be attacked by people just for presenting an opposing viewpoint.

The truth is that I did work in the SMU athletic recruiting office (92-96), and spent 1 year as Clovis Hale's graduate assistant. Then I spent time working for the Kansas City Chiefs where I reported to Terry Bradway under the supervision of Carl Peterson.

While I was with KC, Steve Bono was our QB with Matt Blundin as his backup. I became friends with Herm Edwards, Al Saunders, and others.

I know you people think I'm making up things as I'm going along, and you are entitled to your opinion. However, the truth is that I have been scouting football (either for money or on my own) for most of my life.

That said, you believe what you want. I know the truth and the rest of you are horses a$$e$ for atacking me for no reason.

Look. I love all posters on Ponyfans. We are all family. You began the attack by stating that Ponyte did not know what he was talking about when he said there were no blown coverages. And you did it in a very rude fashion. I pointed out that Ponyte was correct and you attacked again. I have no problem with you continually stating your resume to try and show some legitimacy on the board, but I think I will take the statement of a former member of the Pony Express team at SMU as to whether or not he knows the difference of a blown coverage as opposed to a bad coverage. I am happy you have friends. Just realize there may just be someone on this board that might just possibly through some freak of nature, accidentally have close to the grand knowledge that you have, which in turn you have to keep repeating as though you question it yourself.

I have been called much worse than a horses [deleted], so for now, this immature, ignorant former player and coach will say I am glad you are an SMU fan and leave it at that.

Does anyone have any video of these two plays? I remember them being in position and getting beaten but then I've "misremembered" before

So, we didn't blow coverage, our coverage just blows? That sums it up I think.
