I am sick and tired of the way he talks about SMU. He played a part in the Dealth Penalty. Why doesn't he bring that up? Why does he talk about how he cried so much that his Mama had to come talk to Ron Myer because he thought Eric Dickerson got too much playing time. He take pleasure out of trash talking SMU and anyone that has anything to do with it. Just last night at the Texas Game he was bashing Lance. Why can't he move on with his life now that he got what he wanted. Alot of other peoples money! and alot of people in trouble for it. If you can't something nice just leave it unsaid. I have kept my mouth shut for all these years but it is becoming harder and harder the more he talks. That is all I am going to say.

I'm sick and tired of jackasses like you and the rest above taking pot shots at an SMU great for a harmless joke. And yeah I'm really sure he was taking a shot at his buddy Lance McIllhenney. It was a JOKE-get it-somehow Lance has a vote in the Harris Poll despite fact he is not a Coach, AD, journalist or otherwise involved in College Football. I suggest investing in a sense of humor. I'd trade the Top 10 SMU recruits in the SMU Recruiting Classes from 1989 to 2009 for one Craig James who committed to SMU when it was very UNCOOL and was the one recruit who everybody followed. One of the most important commitments next to Doak Walker in the History of the school.

You see it one way and I see it another. He was here of one reason only. To profit for himself only. He could have cared less about the school. I guess everything negative he says about SMU is joke as well. I think the difference is I was brought up caring about this school as a whole not just a part of it. so when he takes cheap shot at one part of the school it has effects on the whole school. When I lived up north for awhile this was very apparent. You might not see it if you live in the south put I got tried of dealing with tthe cheap shot up there. You can defend him all day long but after all he got free at SMU trashing the school is still wrong even if you think it is all a joke. How would you like someone trashing your business then saying they were just joking. I think you would be pretty mad. We are in the middle of a funding drive. That is all the time and energy I will spend on this unfortunate subject. I have keep my mouth shut since the Death Penalty and I need to continue to keep it shut.
