OU will beat Mizzou then go down the toilet in the national title match with Florida.

Humiliating.

Too bad Texas couldn't win it on the field and not whining about the rules. You lost to tech so move along.

If we're going to compare losses, let's look at them this way:

Oklahoma loses to Texas: The Sooners get worn down and get run off the field in the fourth quarter. Texas, 45-35.

Texas loses to Texas Tech: Longhorns are down 22-3? at the half and rally all the way back to take the lead with a little more than one minute to play (why did you go out of bounds, Colt? ). Red Raiders score the game-winner with one second left. Texas Tech, 39-33.

Texas Tech loses to Oklahoma: Red Raiders were never in this. Oklahoma, 65-21.

Just adding to the discussion. Again, the wrong team is playing in the Big 12 Title game, but that's fine. Texas will go to the Fiesta Bowl and probably prove a point.

And I'm sorry, you cannot add Tech to this equation because of where it fell in the BCS ratings when it lost to BLOW YOU. If they were fourth, sure. But it came down to Texas and Oklahoma.

Mr. Pony -- the OU and Big Game Bob mystique over Texas is flat out over.

Not really. Big Game Bob is still playing for a chance at a national title.

Lost the battle, but still with a chance to win the war?

I thought you T-sips didn't want to use BCS standings for sorting this thing out. Head-to-head, right? Tech beat UT. OU obliterated 'em!

it seems like it's been somewhat common for teams in the same situation as Texas to bellyache, complain, etc then go to a bowl and get their [deleted] handed to them. See Cal a few years ago vs Tech.

So, how about Texas vs Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl, Ohio State stays out of the BCS, and Boise beats Texas 44-9?

Oh, we are using the BCS standings. Because Tech fell to 7th, the Red Raiders were knocked out the national title race. I congratulate them on beating Texas. Oh, and they beat them in Lubbock. Tech lost in Norman. For historical purposes, I think BLOW YOU has lost the last two trips to Norman.

Prior to last week, Texas was second and BLOW YOU was third so it should have come down to 45-35 in the Cotton Bowl.

BTW, you're not hearing a lot from Lubbock because they knew they were done because of where they fell.

I don't like this, but it's over and there isn't thing one we can do about it.

Go Missouri!!

P.S. -- As my SEC brother in-law said, "We like OU because they have become an SEC whipping boy.''
