Love it! I knew about a few of these, but that's some strong work Peruna!

My favorite was watching Peruna drag the handler across the field at the pep rally before the first game, and then she rolled about 15 yards once she totally lost hold. Looked like it was going to happen again during the first game, but she just let go. (She was replaced the next week.)

Wish I had seen the ram killing though!

A little known fact of that game, one of the Fordham players who witnessed the event was a guy named Vince Lombardi. I wonder what the crowd sounded like when they saw that Ram go down and then had to be carried off the field.

Seriously, this link needs to be sent to the effing [deleted] Daily Campus kid who wrote that stupid, STUPID "op ed" piece a couple yrs back on how much we need a full size horse with a rider (I guess the fact that nobody rides a mustang because it is by definition a wild horse means nothing to some people). I agree with Eaststang, hopefully this will help squelch that movement. Why would anybody in their right mind want to replace a mascot that left a steamer on froggie field. Idiots
