Poll running 81-19 that is a poor choice-not only that but they have set themselves as target No. 1 from minority groups which will perhaps wonder-pehaps correctly- how a good ole Auburn boy with zero Big 12 wins gets the job in the heart of Dixie over Turner Gill who has turned around one of the worst teams in the country and has a long successful tenure at Nebraska. I'm just saying...I do believe you will be hearing this argument and Auburn better hope it doesn't reverberate throughout recruiting circles. If they had chosen a Head Coach with a proven coaching record -say a guy like Patterson-then they could have avoided that problem-but Chizek?

Will Chizek get Auburn to a bowl game before June Jones gets SMU to one?

Interesting article on the hire. It also rates the first year coaches on how they did.

At least one prominent Auburn alum agrees with you.

I, for one, am still laughing at the little tigers. Next year, you'll come up on the wrong end of a 3-2 game.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

Put me down as this will be a disaster just like the Aggie hiring of Sherman.
