Obviously he/she did not. Utah scored in last 40 seconds to win the damn game.
That was the night TCU fans wanted to BBQ Ross Evans.
style is [deleted]....wins are wins and losses are losses. Utah is deserving of the honor of co-national champion plain and simple...it DOES NOT MATTER WHAT CONFERENCE THEY PLAY IN, THEY BEAT ALABAMA IN THE SUGAR BOWL.
if OU loses it should go... 1. FL/Utah 2. Texas 3. USC 4. OU if OU wins... 1. Utah/OU/Texas 2. USC 3. FL "There ain't nothing you can't solve with one more beer"
10 OU/FL winner
2)USC 3)Texas or OU/FL loser 4)Texas or OU/FL loser 5)Utah I think that game last night hurts Texas in the national eye. I know those of you who bleed orange still think last night's game gives them a share of the National Championship. I would have agreed if last night's game was "no contest" like so many expected it would be
Neither USC or Texas has any chance of even a small share of the national championship. The National Champion will be the winner of OU/FL. If anyone outside that game has a claim it is Utah.
All true pony fans should be screaming loud for Utah. In our wildest most successful dreams that would be us - if you win every game and nobody else in college football does - you should be national champs - until there is a playoff to prove it.
Just my random thoughts:
1. Utah - 13-0 and they beat 6 bowl teams. 2. Winner Florida/OU game - Lost one game and I hate the BS that is the BCS. 3. Texas - One loss on the road at Tech. 4. USC - One loss on the road at Oregon State 5. Loser of Florida/OU - 2 Losses. Class of '91
thats a good one "There ain't nothing you can't solve with one more beer"
Amen, brother (sister?) But that won't keep "Chatty-Cathy Mack" from whining all over creation about his precious Donghorns. Look for him at halftime of the BCS championship. ![]()
You love Mack!! BTW, D1 football, that is quite possibly the worst analysis of a season I've ever seen. When you get into comparing scores, you really look silly. One does not have anything to do with the other. But the bottom line is that Texas had more points than Ohio State. Just like USC did. Loved Brown's comment that he's voting for Texas for No. 1 Friday. Why not. He knows they're not going to be No. 1 but he's going to fight for his program -- which is something Bob Stoops does, Urban Meyer does, Pete Carroll does.....
Until there is a playoff it's all nonsense. That said I would go with undefeated Utah. They clobbered a good Alabama team. USC is of course also deserving. Can't discount Oklahoma whot steamrolled everyone the last half of the season. Then again Florida is excellent. UT is very overrated. TT is out of the top ten.
if UT is overrated then OU is. "There ain't nothing you can't solve with one more beer"
I watched SMU play Rice. SMU lost I watched SMU play Texas Tech. SMU lost I watched SMU play Texas Christian. SMU lost I watched SMU play Tulane. SMU lost I watched SMU play Central Florida. SMU lost I watched SMU play Tulsa. SMU lost I watched SMU play Houston. SMU lost I watched SMU play Navy. SMU lost I watched SMU play Memphis. SMU lost I watched SMU play Texas - El Paso. SMU lost I watched SMU play Southern Miss. SMU lost I don't see how winning could ever be embarassing It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!
