SMU is already going to acquire the yale blvd property to build 'sophomore housing...if they are going to tear down barley house they may as well add a practice facility too.

the land basis across (east) of central is too expensive for a practice facility when that can be used for income producing structures.

i'm just posing the question, why can't an indoor facility be built where the current practice field is on mockingbird. architecture aside - there's no restriction from University Park as to the type of structure as best i recall. if residents and the city put up a big fight, build a 20' wall out of brick on M'bird and then do the typical vinyl bldg.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Why do we even need an indoor facility?
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Recruiting, recruiting, bad weather days (remember last spring, and training camp?) June has said on numerous occasions, that SMU needs one, and recruiting. Oh, and recruiting.

Would you really want an ugly vinyl building right at the entrance of campus? If we build an indoor facility there, it had better look nice.

From everything I've heard, the sophomore housing across Central will not happen...because it's across Central. Look for sophomore housing to be built on the Mrs. Baird's property.

Thx ALEX LIFESON.

I guess I've been away too long to remember what the weather is like in the spring in Dallas.

Btw - it was a pleasure meeting you at the USM game. Hope to see you again.
