Joubert. I think I said it before, but whenever I see that name it gets me thinking Lacy Chabert. Long way from "Party of Five":

Not to mention that sitting and learning won't just make him better, it would give him a shot at having two full years as a Starter. If he doesn't redshirt, he'll only be a year behind Mitchell, and could easily get lost in the shuffle. He's probably already going to have his work cut out for him in fending off the 2010 and 2011 QBs for the 2012 starting spot. -CoS
Smith will be a 5th year senior in 2012 and might have the ability to be the starter.

Padron will RS only if we don't need him. He is 3rd in line so I don't see that happening. Padron wil play, if Braden and BLM go down..

Just a suggestion, but in the future when you hear his name while playing try not to think of Lacy. People may get the wrong impression if you do....

Ron Meyer told me that he liked to play a player the first year so he could experience the "speed of the game" so that the player could see what he had to work on - then redshirt him the next year - just another way of doing it

Burning red shirts does not bother me as long as it is for the good of the team especially in the skill positions. Too many uncertainties in football. That is why you keep reloading.

Perhaps Darius Johnson should have red shirted this year..............outside of the one TD in the first game, he might have been better off.

If he had not been injured, it probably would have worked out. It still may. At least four important games to play

Wide Recievers: Darrius Johnson, Chayse Joubert.
Safeties - James Scott.
Corners: JR McConico
OLB - Jagered Davis
DE - Brandon Henderson, Braylon Williams
O-Line - Ben Hughes, Joey Fontana
This does not include the JC transfers that wil also make an impact.
Some of these names still qualify for RS, dont you have to play a certain percentage of plays to burn RS ?

percentage of plays/games only comes into play with season ending, medically verified injury. None of those players fit the description.
