So if you lose your bowl game your winning percentage goes down and you aren't the champion because you played an extra game!
Wasn't that Extra Game the Big 12 CHAMPIONSHIP Game that OU played and WON?

No, the conference standings are based on the regular season and account for head-to-head results.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I beg to differ as the link clearly shows the conference standings at 7-1 and the overall standings are used to determine the winning percentage.
But what do I know I'm a USC alum...
