GSP, it almost sounds like you are hoping for it, you've repeated it so much.

I'm really impressed with some of TCU's defensive lineman that have come on. Clemson double team Hughes all game but that Cory Grant kid and the other DT Kelly Griffin as well as DE Wayne Daniels are real players. They stuffed an ACC team on the road in the second half. LB Darl Washington is too but he got beat by C.J. Spiller a few times. But we don't have C. J. Spiller I don't think.

14-10 is not wiping the floor with them lizard. TCU would be a middle of the road team in the Big 12. With the weak schedule they play they should not lose any games the rest of the season.

Really, let's see you go into an environment like "Death Valley"

against a quality ACC team and see if you can do any better. Huh?

What teams in the BIg 12 could you beat lizard? We are not that good at this point, but I see why Patterson does not what a playoff. He only plays 3 decent teams a year, cry's about a BCS bid, and goes job interviewing so that he can get a raise from TCU (knowing that he is not going anywhere). I also don't think Clemson was ranked. You guys have a good defensive team. But you think more highly of yourselves than you ought. No reason you should not go 12-0 at this point.

They will lose at least once this year.

Clemson has Top 20 talent. In last 5 years they have 4 classes rated in the teens and another rated No. 36. Beating Clemson on the Road and dominating Virginia on the Road defines TCU as a great team. You can't take big road wins away from them. Ask USC. And btw you don't want to ask about TCU record against BCS schools since 1996. In more recent years I believe they are 9-2(UT, OU only loseses). TCU is 13-3 against BCS in the last 15 games. They've proven they can win at the BCS level.

I really wish some of the SMU fans could stop this pollyana mentality regarding TCU and admit how solid this program is. What in the world, folks? They've been doing this pretty much consistently since about 1998 and haven't stopped.

Kind of embarrassing when I read that people are hoping that a physical football game will help us. Drop that thinking. That's like admitting that you realize how inferior we are to them in a differernt way. TCU is so far ahead of us.

If you look at all of the championship type of programs, they play a physical brand of football on both sides. Can we say that about the current head football coaches approach to the game?

The keeper is correct about their offense still developing but also keep in mind how much Dalton has improved in his decision making and how he appears to know his role better and better. He's not longer a caretaker. He can make plays.

Their corners are going to probably physically go after Sanders, Robinson (if healthy) and Wilkerson to the point where they won't run their routes correctly and the timing will be thrown off. And because our lineman are clueless to run blocking, we will not be able to get anything out of McNeal unless he happens to do something on his own.

Plus, our defense is going to have to gamble a little more, especially on the road. The only way we have any more hope is if TCU starts reading its own press clippings -- and the Frogs don't do that.

Go to Amon Carter, take your arse kicking, come back, regroup and get ready for Oct. 10 against ECU.

This is going to be really, really bad -- TCU a lot , SMU not very much.

Just telling you like it is.

You are starting to sound like Omar Kadafi at the UN meetings, when he said the same thing ad nauseum.

I don't think there's anyone here who isn't recognizing how solid the TCU football program is, General. They've got a very good program. Their coaching staff is excellent at developing players and now they are landing some top-notch recruits as well.

I don't see anybody disputing that.

Of course, since you are so adamant about being right and everyone else being wrong, I'm sure you will argue this with me.

I thought TCU might have a good chance at winning a low scoring game against Clemson in sloppy conditions. TCU plays great defense and Clemson, despite having Spiller and Ford, does not have a very good offense. That is due primarily to having a FR QB but more important an OL that has performed like a pretty average bunch.

Don't want to take anything away from TCU. That's a quality win because Clemson is tough at home. They are a solid middle of the pack ACC team but can absolutely compete against top 25 talent at Death Valley.

Next week will remind us how far we are from competing with quality teams.
