OK- Meek left in '61 and was replaced by Hayden in '62. So he left in '62? or '63? I thought he played for Meek afer Meredith left. Meek was in my opinion the worst coach that SMU has ever had. He thought he was a god. Really didn't know Xs and Os.

I sat next to Jerry in a class. Everyone is correct. Fry said he was going to emphasize the run...and Jerry ran to Tulsa. There was probably more to it.....but that's the quick answer.

Those are hideous. Tulsa's uniforms are now worse than everybody other than Oregon, Minnesota (similar yellow/yellow crap), Penn State, Texas (logo is tolerable, but that puke color makes me want to ... puke) and Baylor (too much Oakland A's in there).
