I bet no one would mind if June planted palm trees in the in zone at Ford, if the team makes it to a bowl and wins. :D

More power to you. I think this is the ideal place to vent, although others seem to think cheerleading only is the order of the day on this board. Carry on.

They need to find something else to report on. Sorry if Greg McMackin embarrassed the state with his comments and may not be as popular as his predecessor.

I realize he was a prominant figure out there, but I just believe this is not healthy for him and what he's trying to do at SMU. I find it to be a huge distraction.

I get the sense this is Hawaii media driven to the point where they can't or refuse let this go.

Get over it dude. Jones is a big part of Hawaii and when you hire him as your head football coach that comes along with it. I personally don't mind it all...

That's actually not a tent, it's the concession stand

As I said, I know I have not been Mr. Fun lately. I'll try and rein it in and be a little better about this

I once mentioned to a friend that I disliked talking to my father because he was so negative about everything. My friend said he wished his father was alive; he would love to talk to him on any terms. He then said, you know what it is about your father you dislike?... It’s exactly what you are.

I don't find a problem with their coverage. The newspeople had a layover in Dallas for the Hawaii-La Tech game and need to take advantage of their time here. Also, Hawaii does produce some players, it is good that JJ keeps his name and ours in these recruits minds.

This isn't like you wife having coffee with an ex-boyfriend?

Hell I don't mind if he wants to wear Red or Blue Hula Shirts-he looks so uncomfortable in everything else he wears-I think he ought to just go with the Hawaiian look.

Hawaii actually stayed near the DFW airport the past few days. They practiced at Euless Trinity High School on Monday and Tuesday...trying to get the recruiting pipeline between Hawaii and Euless Trinity going.

One Euless Trinity football player has been posting about Hawaii practicing there...and he mentioned SMU in his posts so I guess I should post the info here.

One of the coaches tried to recruit my friend Na'a...he's a pretty good linebacker, we got some poly players here at trinity and i think hawaii can snag a few...as for the skill guys...idk JJ might pick them up...but then again JJ might pick all of them up haha oh well we shall see

Some guys who are starting Seniors and are poly
-Sete Malie (DL)
-Paul Pauni (DL) runs faster than all the lineman...his 40 is like somewhere in the low 5's
-Siaosi Finau (DL)
-Paul Olie (LB) beastly linebacker...he's out now but he can make plays and hit
-Isikeli Cocker (OL) looking at UNLV, Utah, and BYU so i hear
-Na'a Moeakiola (LB) looking everywhere last time i asked him...in English he was on Hawai`i website so Hawaii could be on his radar

Some guys to watch that are non seniors (poly)
-Lahi Kautai (QB) has family in Hawaii
-Nila Kasitati (TE)
-Ilaiu Moeakiola (DB) starting safty
-Wawa Leota (DL) don't know much about him except that he fractured my collar bone
-Pual Tuipulotu (RB) :->: has hands, can block
-Cisco Leota (LB) hard hitter
-Hiva Lutui (OL) quick lineman
-Henry Lea'aetoa (OL) quick lineman

i know i missed a couple but there are some guys to watch for
