I am as sunshiny as anyone, but I remember 2006 all too well not to mention 2007 an 2008. I want them to work on getting to 4, and then 5, and then 6, and then 7 we can start thinking about where. I was logging on to make plane reservations both times we had 1st and goal against Rice.

Hawaii might have trouble qualifying for bowl. Heck maybe SMU might have home field advantage in a Hawaii Bowl w/o Hawaii-WEAR GREEN

Due to injuries to the top 3 QBs, the QB that was #4 during training camp is now starting for Hawaii. He is a walk-on that delivers pizza at night so that he can afford to go to college. How many D-IA teams have a starting QB delivering pizzas?

Hawaii is a 10 to 11 point underdog this week for their game in Idaho. Who would have thought that Idaho and SMU could be at the top of their conferences at this point in the season?

SMU making it to the Hawaii Bowl would be very important for attendance if Hawaii doesn't make it...

ESPN *owns* the Hawaii Bowl and many of the minor bowl games. The bowl games serve as programming for ESPN.

By the way, congratulations on the ECU win. That is a quality conference win and I don't think that many people thought that SMU had a chance (including most people here it seems).

Curious. Does your pizza delivering QB deliver many to the wrong houses?

I don't think anyone thinks we have gotten close to our potential as a team this year (except maybe defense and some parts of our special teams) yet we should be 4-1 and carried the #9 team in the nation into the third quarter within a touchdown although being dominated at the line of scrimmage. If the team chemistry comes together and they come together on both sides of the ball, watch out! We can win em all. Then next year and thereafter we will be complaining of being left out of the BCS bowls with an undefeated record. I can't wait. It is not too late to hop on the bandwagon you naysayers. It is so fun so you might as well join now so you can tell everyone later that you were behind the Mustangs from the very start and were part of the greatest turnaround in NCAA football in the last 20 years!

well that was fun why it lasted. Hawaii would be really hard to get the family to on short notice, but I really want to go if SMU makes a bowl....so for selfish reasons I am hoping for somewhere closer.

Its going to be interesting as the season gets close to the end. My view is that the Marshall game will be huge. If Marshall wins, they go bowling. If we win, we go bowling. Of course, we have to avoid any steps on our wee-wees in the meantime.

Marshall will go bowling no matter if they beat us or lose to us.
