Just starting to watch the replay with a cup of coffee. He dominated the first two series. The guy was a monster all day, but he sure set the tempo for the defense right from the get-go.

he was absolutely fantastic. I haven’t seen an SMU defensive player dominate like that in a LONG time.

I was impressed by Davis but I was so impressed by the entire defensive unit...playing together and stopping what needed to be stopped! Go Mustangs!

I was really impressed with Davis. He's going to be a big-time player for us. While we're at it, I'd also like to put in a word for Marquis Frazier. He has been a major factor in our VASTLY improved D-line this year. If I recall, he was very highly recruited out of high school but everyone backed off after he suffered an injury. I think that's been a great pickup for June and his staff.

As I have said before, forget the rating and stars.......this guy can run and hit. He is not just an athlete, he is a football playing dynamo with an upside that is downright scary. Whoever recruited this guy....way to go.....now go get us some more!

As I have said before-over and over again the more guys like Frazier that you sign who has had over 10 scholarship offers and was rated as one of the best DEs in Texas and Jagared Davis who had 4 offers and Tyson Thompson who had over 10 offers and Chris Banjo who had over 5 offers etc the better chance you will have to win especially if you want to see the SMU program reach the next level. smuuth does not know what the hell he's talking about. He's a casual observer making cliche comments on topics he has little actual information on.

All world RB from Irving, TCU, JUCO, and Dallas Cowboys-they all sound the same to me after a few decades

Stallion, what do you think the reason for Bordano's lack of offers? He seems like a pretty legit linebacker. any opinion?

I don't know-seems like a quality LB with good speed and definite on-field performance over multiple years. I haven't seen much video on him so I really can't say much more. Maybe some teams thought he was an SMU lock.

Scout does have video on him but its one of those video that show the same play 3 times from different angles. He looks quick to the ball and delivers some great hits-the main thing I think schools will consider if he can add substantial weight and still retain his speed-like his uncle did.
