The way Tulsa pinches its safeties up - almost like extra LBs - it's like they're daring teams to throw. If Phillips can get outside the S/LBs on the corner, he can find 1-on-1 coverage for his receivers or tuck the ball and run, with a lot of open field space. The thing is, that if we have a receiver on each side and Phillips rolls out, he will have basicall one target, which means KK of a TE will have to slip behind the safeties AND the WR from the other side of the field will have to make sure to finish his route by coming across the field, to give Phillips a safety valve.
