Anderson was injured last year and quite frankly I haven't really seen many of their games to check his progress but as a Sophmore he was as good as there was in the Conference. He has almost 1,000 yards rushing even though he got zilch last week. Williams is reputed to be an NFL talent and has about 79 catches for 1,039 yards. So they have their Shawnbray and Emanuel caliber athletes at RB and WR. We squeeked by Rice, lost to Washington St and struggled with Texas State. I think we ought to prepare for a fight-and I am serious by the way.

Interesting note in the paper today that Sanders might play some CB this week. I think we heard allusions to this in the preseason but after the DBs' performance last week it seems like a good time. Maybe we'll see him matched head-to-head with his Tulane counterpart.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

We really could use him back there. We are basically STARTING our 4th corner at this point. Beanie is really undersized at 5'8". He seemed to be in good position to make the plays but just didnt with the reciever jumping over him and making the grab.

Our defense in general is banged up and that has been a key difference in the last 3 games. If we are healthy, we beat Tulane with ease. Since we are not healthy, we once again need the offense to step up. If the O can score quick and often, Tulane loses its reason to fight on and our D is less likely to be pushed.

Offense is the key to winning with solid special teams play throughout the game. We need to rest our D and take pressure off the D. That didn't happen last week and if it doesn't happen this week, we will see a close game.

Even if we have a good lead on them, we need to keep our foot on their neck

to make sure they don't make a rally.

Not thrilled that they have a great running back. Seen enough of those the past couple of weeks to last me for awhile. I hope their O-line is weak. We don't look so good against big, strong O-lines.
