The Moana and Royal Hawaiian are too small, too expensive and too traditional. I'm pretty sure it will be a Sheraton and if its on Waikiki then it will be the Sheraton Waikiki which is a huge hotel. Now there are several Sheraton's just across the Beach too which could be chosen and are more likely than the Moana or Royal Hawaiian.

I cut Mustang Club some slack, but Anthony Travel specializes in this... they organize collegiate trips and have obviously organized tons of bowl trips.

Their excuse all day up until after 4pm was that they were waiting for the "official announcement"

Not that I am patient to begin with, but the longer they delay, prices are going up for other options.

Maybe that's their racket?

Sheraton Waikiki pool has apparently been redone and is supposed to be fantastic-a real hot spot. The pool is shared by Royal Hawaiian which are really one complex

I'm hearing no air packages only land packages. Air we are on our own, apparently so many great deals online couldn't get packages to beat most of the specials. Apparently having hard time with charters due to finding crews and such to work on Christmas eve because the team is leaving to come back right after the game on the 24th. Team staying at Sheraton Waikiki. Land packages will include SMU activities such as tailgate before game and other functions. Banquet dinner one night separate tickets can be purchased and I believe and pep rally one day on the beach. Maybe the 21st but don't quote me on that. This info should be fairly accurate but who knows. All I know is that I'm pumped! Go Ponies!

Only land packages?...good luck with that since they haven't built that bridge to Hawaii yet. :?

I know...I know. Just having some fun.

Land only through Anthony. The prices are ridiculous through Anthony. Book your own package through one of the online sites or through me. Then buy the SMU experiences (dinner, pep-rally) separately.

I am definitely going to stay at the Sheraton. Even though it is under construction, I think it will be fun staying where the team stays.

Again, if you need help or discount codes, please PM me.

so those that waited on the Mustang Club to come through with a package got hosed. They'll be paying a premium for their room + higher airfare. That sucks.

I'm glad I booked with Expedia on Monday and we can't blame the Mustang Club really, as how much experience have they had with this sort of thing? They hooked up with Anthony who didn't help much did they?....land only packages?....WTH?

The Mustang Club is great, but anyone thinking that they would have a better deal than expedia or other billion dollar company discounts is out of their ever loving palm tree.

You can still book the 21st - 26 at the Marriott for less than i paid for it a week ago $1220.00 including air with united. Other hotels from $930.00 with flight (That's $100.00 more than the Marshall trip hello)

We're flying in on the 20th and out on the 26th. Staying at the Sheraton and paying a base of $169 a night. If we stayed the 26th it would jump to $350!! That's 6 nights for $1014. More than some I know, but still not bad. Win or lose, it's going to be fantastic!

I believe that the travel agency that they are using is the one that C-USA uses.

I noticed that if you tried to book through the Marriott web site it's 350.00 a night and $1000.00 for Xmas.
