those are pretty awesome. Too bad we're not sponsored by Nike. I'm sure they'd put something like that together for us.

CUSA usually sits on the Makai sidelines, shaded side. When Jones was here, he elected to be the visitors to be in the shade during day games, night games, the team benched on the Mauka side.
Look at your tickets, single letters A,B, etc sections are on the visitors makai sidelines. Double letters are on the mountain side of the stadium, in the sun and the sun sets directly into your eyes from 5:30 to 6:30

I think I was offered GA or BA or something like that through the ticket office...mountain-side?

Wear your sunglasses SMUer. :)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Aloha Stadium
double letters, AA, BB, etc, always the same letter, are mountain side (mauka) for the home team. Faces the afternoon sun. Suggest visor, sunglasses and suntan lotion. Stadium is tiered. Orange is closest to the field, blue continues in back of orange first level tier. Brown is the loge. Above loge is red. Nose bleed upper deck is yellow. Mauka sideline faces the afternoon sun, directly into your face, especially when the sun is setting between 5:30 and 6:30 pm

PK I suspect you are seated in the visitors section A, and she gave you a color which you mistook for another letter. Blue A is an example.

I wish we'd go back to our blue unis for at least a game next season. That would remind plenty of the prior good ole days.
