Re: BLMBLM dealt with alot this year he was never really healthy i remember talking about him being really sick at the beginning of the year, the he had a rib injury, then he had an ulcer ... if this kids 100% all of spring i wouldnt be suprised if he did win the #1 spot again
Re: BLMI can't believe you guys actually think Bo has a shot at starting again. He's had 1, maybe 2 great games and thrown a whole lot more INT's than Padron. Padron is better than BLM in almost every way and is a more dangerous playmaker in my mind. He shows better control of the offense and doesn't screw up nearly as often. I hope McDermott comes through as the primary backup next year, because I don't think BLM is, or will be the best QB for this team.

Re: BLMI don't care whether Bo ever starts again, but I hope he does come back healthy and adds to the competition at the position. We are always just one play (injury) away from needing another capable QB and I'd feel better if we had at least 2-3 guys Jones had close to equal confidence in. If a guy is going bad or gets "dinged up", I'd like to have someone we can bring off the bench and know that guy can still pull out a win. If he transfers, we are immediately thin again at QB.
Re: BLMThis kid probably doesn't want to sit on the bench for the remainder of his career waiting for the QB in front of him to get injured just for another shot to play again, it would be smart for him to transfer and make the best of the 2 seasons he has left. He would make a nice FCS or D-II QB.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: BLMAs with every position, keep working [deleted] and off the field and prepare for when the opportunity arises again. As Bart Starr once said, one of the saddest things that can happen to an athlete is when an opportunity arises and he is not ready and prepared for the opportunity. Padron was ready. In the QB and injury-filled sport that is football, opportunity can come knocking on the next snap! Be ready Bo and Braden.
Re: BLMIf BLM ever starts here again were headed the wrong direction!
He seems like a great guy and I think starting last year hurt any potential he had. I hope he never takes another snap as QB here. Just being honest. Dude- that's just mean! That's like me saying I hope you never do well at your job or your future. These guys work hard every day, in and out, of the classroom. We should do nothing but support them. Some of your post are just mean spirited- " just being honest"!!!! I hope that every athlete at SMU can get a great education and play some really competitive football and when they sit back 10 or 20 years from now they can say... that was a great experince. You guys that come on these sites and bash these guys just need to stop. God help any of our athletes who read this bull and start believing any of it. Just be a fan!
Re: BLM
Oh brother, here we go again. In the context of this thread, stating that you hope BLM doesn't take another snap is mearly supporting the current starter, and hoping that he doesn't get injured. Is it a bit extreme? Sure. Is it some kind of mortal sin that should cause anyone (much less the players themselves) anxiety? Not in the least. -CoS
Re: BLMUgh. This a site for fan discussion, not an online pep rally.
It is perfectly acceptable to recognize that some players are more naturally talented than others. BLM is less talented than Padron. If we lose Padron and BLM is the best we have to send in, we are going backwards. "I think Couchem is right."

Re: BLM
No it's not. Didn't you know that everybody is special and can do anything in the world they want to no matter how slim the chances are?! Gold stickers for everybody!!!
