What's next? Am I going to have to wait in line to go the bathroom during the game? Am I actually going to have people sitting to the sides and front of me...where am I going to rest my feet? I'm fine with paying a little more for victories, but I'm glad I stayed in 106 and never moved closer to midfield, I feel bad for some of you.

glad i can spend an additional $500 for the sell out crowds against UAB, Marshall, and Washington State... we win one bowl game in 25 years and they start trying to cash in... we couldnt even give away all of the tickets that were purchased this year. i realize this is what top programs do, but thats because they are top programs. this isnt a chicken/egg debate. i realize orsini is an accounting major, but maybe he should consider talking to someone with a back ground in economics. its a little thing called supply and demand

or maybe we could get some obamanomics going. smu should share some of the wealth with the younger alumni, who can't really afford season tickets (spending what they do have on flat screens, rims, and bottle service..... or croakies, sports coats, and rainbow flip flops ).

Plan: SMU gives every alumni in the past 6 years (estimated 8,000?) a right to purchase up to 4 season tickets within the priority seating zones based on availability (or any other section considered to be lesser in value). These participants would be unable to move ahead/displace any current priority seat holder who wishes to exercise their rights. Once they have purchased season tickets they would then have a license to use these seats for upto 5 years without making any donations to the mustang club. At the end of the 5 years, the participant must then decide if they want to continue the use of their current seats, upgrade, downgrade, or not participate. If the participant chooses to continue the use of their seats, they will be required to make a donation for the present value of their respective seating priority (upgrades and downgrades will be handled in the same manner, based on availability). If a participant decides he/she no longer wants to purchase season tickets, they will be able to walk away without any penalty or donations to the mustang club. While some of you who have had season tickets since doak walker played, this would in no way change your rights as super duper fan #1. you would still be entitled to all of the same rights under your current license, and you would get to see fans actually stand up and cheer at the games.

We could extend it to ten years or post date it 4-6 years and continue it for the foreseeable future with each graduating class (once we have reached capacity then determine a new strategy, waiting lists, etc.). Reasons why this is good: 1. More season ticket sales. 2. More concession sales. 3. More people at the games. 4. I don't like pie

Just curious. Has the "Church" lot parking always been sold/available?

If so, how has that worked out when someone has a typical Saturday wedding -- Perkins chapel is always booked for weddings.

Just wait until the next sell-out campaign. You get a free ticket and ride to the game (no parking required).

The team won 700% more games and the donation for those seats only increased 300%, sounds like a bargain.

I don't like paying more but, for a pretty low 150 dollar donation I got good seats (106) and my family
got free food and free beer at the mustang club tent. I will stomach going to 250 because the
free food and beer for 6 games is still a good deal. But if they raise the 250 soon or pass on the food and beer, I'll prolly pass next year...........

Yes, it has always been available. That is what I have and it is fantastic parking.

More power to them but I do not see this as a loyalty reward in any way.

Where does it say you have to buy 4 season tickets? I can't find that.

I cannot post links because I am stoopid, but I read the info and it does say somewhere that seats will be sold in blocks of 4. Of course I could be wrong. I will try to find it agian and point it out.

Edit: Go to the 2nd "answer to your questions". It says the pricing is based on blocks of 4 but you can buy more if you wish.

With out being forward I would recommend to the Mustang Club that they monitor this section next year and check tickets exactly the way they do at basketball games in the blue seats.

I never complain, I just show and cheer. But this would be the only thing I would ask for in return.

Never bothered me before when others moved into my area but it might begin to disturb me a little now. Be ready to pack your bags Jtstang. Of course he is already planning on bringing 2 friends since I will have to buy 4 tickets now.

I wish I could say I was surprised about this. Very similar to the Boulevard cash grab from a few years ago. I love how they say the program will reward fan loyalty.

"Congratulations, you've had the same seats since the stadium opened. You now must donate double in order to maintain the right to buy your same seats."

Some reward. I fear it's just the beginning. Just wait until we've had TWO bowl berths in 25 years.

You can always request seats in section 124...no donation required and still 50 yard line.

Not allowed under some CUSA rule.

You do not have to buy 4 tickets.
The donation amount required is good for 1 - 4 tickets for that level/section.
If you buy 1 ticket, you still pay the full donation amount for up to 4 tickets (not prorated).
If you buy 5 tickets, you pay double the donation amount.

124 is Home seating. Only CUSA rule is that that cannot be student seating or band seating.
