Re: Congrats Emmanueli think emmanuel will draft well, but i doubt he'll go in the first 3 rounds... to me he doesnt seem like deep threat as much as a very athletic possession receiver... perhaps KR/PR...
Pros - Quick, pure athlete, awesome 40 time, and jumping ability... Cons - Vision, size, consistency, and lacks break away speed( has a fast 40, but doesnt have the extra gear) "Do nothing that is of no use..."
Re: Congrats Emmanuel
I agree with everything except for consistency and maybe vision. He's consistent if anything. Don't know about vision - I'm curious why you downgrade him there...
Re: Congrats EmmanuelI agree. Robinson is inconsistent. Robinson is a knucklehead. Sanders is consistent. If you want to say Sanders is inconsistent, I would note that Sanders never had an upperclassman QB. I think Sanders is the victim of inconsistent QB play, especially in 2008 and the first few games of 2009 if you catch my drift.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: Congrats Emmanuel
BTW, I was shocked how consistent, focused & serious Aldrick was in the bowl game (except for the knucklehead celebration during Beasley's run when he could have been blocking). Both he and Terrance Wilkerson are probably as physically gifted than Sanders (Robinson's definitely faster) but nowhere as consistent nor do either have good hands, though Robinson's always there for the spectacular catch. If Aldrick can play like he did in the Hawaii Bowl, he'll be a superstar next year. If not, he's just going to be another Alexander Wright who's fast but has manos de piedras.
Re: Congrats EmmanuelGreat SI mention on Emmanuel Sanders...One of the WR 'Risers'
Emmanuel Sanders/SMU: In many ways, Sanders stole the day as he surpassed expectations at every turn. After running well in the forty, Sanders was fast during the practice session and made all the catches. He ran good routes in the short field and was flawless making the deep receptions. Sanders made NFL decision-makers take notice and could end up as a top 100 choice.[/quote] http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/football/nfl/02/28/risers.wrs/index.html?eref=sihp 2009 Ponyfans Rookie of the Year
Re: Congrats Emmanuel
becauseive seen numberous occasions where sanders took the wrong cut or went the wrong direction instead of hitting the "open" hole... im not saying his vision is bad, just not NFL level... like i said he'd make a great possession WR, and perhaps a great backup/3rd or 4th option...
