I agree, I had the same feeling. If it is a 2011 kid then it would be someone that is not good enough for Alabama but the Alabama coach thought his friend Tom Mason might be able to use him.

Perhaps it is a cruel jest played upon Mason-san, building up his hopes while knowing that they will crash like waves upon rocks. Does the cruelty of Alabama know no bounds!!

I figured it was someone who wasnt good enough to play at Alabama but plenty good enough to play for us. Its possible they could be full on DTs as well.

if so I would think it would be one of the Blinn guys. If it was the guy at Trinity Valley, I think Reinebolds post wouldve sounded something like "headed back" or something...he'd come back to dallas to go to Athens....not necessarily "chasing down." I could be wrong

Id like to think we know about ALL the kids who are Jucos in Texas(he says we heard of em from Alabama)... but it makes more sense to be headed to a place like Blinn from Houston more than anywhere else.

It Alabama is full up for 2010 and SMU signs him it would keep him out of the SEC.

ahhh...a defensive line with Taylor Thompson and Marquis Frazier on the outside, Jesse Williams at the nose with depth from Margus Hunt and the 340 pound JC DT coming off the bench

Alabama is in on JUCO DT Williams also and probably the reason they are letting us know about another 2010 DT. They know Williams is still considering SMU because of our coaches and obvious playing time.
