Not a very smart move. But, I guess they showed'em.

What do you mean by individual sales? Did they consider buying season tickets in sections that did not require the donation?

think he means buying the cheap ones the day of the game, therefore not having to pay the Mustang Alumni Fee.

i just have a quick question. Weren't most if not all of the premium seats sold out last year? i know there was a waiting list for the stadium club for the past several years.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I always heard the Stadium Club was sold out -- even though attendance didn't give that appearance.

I know that SC seats became available May 1; so, sounds like those newly available seats were acquired by new buyers who presumably will attend the games.

Prices are different for a couple boxes...when I requested info...it was 30K total, 3 year contract...70% of which could be wrote off for tax purposes...

I think the MC donation is 80% $8000 the box or tickets would be $20,000 at 50% so $18,000 I'm no CPA I don't drink enough.

They are awesome though....despite the anti- SC and suite crowd on this board...give SMU credit, they built some nice luxury facilities...

10 people at 3k each not a bad deal if a box is the route you want to go. too bad they don't have boxes which also have open air seating in front
