OK- the verdict is in- they are penalized two cheerleaders and the Trojan horse can only be present for 1/2 of the game. :)

I nearly drove off the road when some radio idiot — a radio idiot on a DALLAS station — said USC's penalty was "as harsh as any in the history of college football.
