My source says look for announcement coinciding with the press conference announcing that Texas/ and A&M are staying together for the fans/tradition etc. and to that end we are re-uniting with some of our old conference mates that happen to be two of the most up-and coming programs on the football scene today.......SMU and Houston will be unveiled at the press conference
Could you tell us who these sources are or what they do for a living. Now if your source is Chip Brown or Mack Brown then well we have a story, but if its your friend Larry down the street....

Hurt recruiting? That alone must call into question the sanity of the author. Anyone that would suggest Big 12 recruiting is a step down from C-USA is detached from reality.

Our campus is matched only by the gardens of the Emperor himself!

When do you expect this conference to take place? It would be helpful to know in advance so that I might aid in the preparation for my funeral for when I die from utter disbelief.

Yeah, Chip told us UT, Tech, OU and OSU were gone to the Pac10. Done deal.

I don't know, the fact that it would be almost un-American when TCU has actually earned big boy inclusion 10x more than we have?

LOL Samurai. Although I would gladly "almost" stare death in the face for it to be reality.

On the basis of this insanity, would SMU/Houston move to the big 12 north? Clearly no current big 12 south team wants to move north and this would create a conference with unprecedented advantages for one division over the other:
South: UT, A&M, Tech, OU, OSU, Baylor
North: Kansas, Kstate, Iowa St, SMU, Houston, Mizzou

This act of generosity would also seem contrary to the state of panic that UH has entered.
