This is my second year on the blvd, and I plan on upgrading my tailgate by adding music and a TV with a sat. dish. I know there are some plug in points in the center of the blvd, but any experience with actually plugging into one of the buildings?

My spot is between Cox and Boaz and I plan on plugging into a building if i can find out outlet until told otherwise. I figure it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission! Thoughts?

Have you tried pointing it at the satellite? 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Here is what I have done and still failed.

I took the dish out of the cradle off the side of the roof.
I studied the user manual for dish network pointing.
I purchased HD cable 50 foot long. I bough a dish stand from video city. I plugged in the zip codes and received the three setting for the dish angle elevation etc. I even bought an I phone app that shows me where in the sky the satellites are.
With all of that I still can not get a fuckling signal.
The only thing I was able to accomplish was to up my signal strength on the roof from 65 to 80. So guess what. I’m not going to torture my self with a dish on game day. I’m just going to hang a digital antenna on the tent or in the tree and drink ice cold beer.

Berg something sounds like bad luck using tents that came from funerals. Just saying.

I am considered to be a tech guy. So yes it was plugged in lol.
From what I have read, the HD signals are very hard to tune in.
When I put it back on the roof I was smart enough to mark all of the settings with a marker, even then I had to move the dish less than one eighth of an inch at a time to get the signal,
It's like trying to find a needle in the sky, and that's with no trees or buildings yada yada
