As long as the students are not behind or above you. This appears to be a good location.

strategically and tactically it is always better to seek the high ground so as to be able to hurl the insults and debris down upon your opponent rather than vice-versa

What on earth makes you think that N. Texas would travel to a game against Tech? They can't sell out their 15k stadium for home games.

This should make you feel better. I was just told by a young fellow employee that there is a group of about 80 new SMU grads and students busing to Tech for the game. That should help you get above the 100 mark on SMU supporters at the game.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Yes it takes a minimum of 300 "proud" mustang fans to offset our profane ignorance and drunken fervor. Are you serious? Do you really talk like that? Effiminate nerd says "what"?

For those who are interested: The Mustang Band is being stuck in a small wedge-shaped section between the TT band and the TT student section. A DPS officer is going to be escorting the band, just to be safe.

which tells me we won't be able to hear our band at all. I think from our vantage point, the 400 member Tech band and a good part of that east side will be between us and our band, based on your description, right? That sucks. Id almost rather still be in the endzone.

Although tech fans are known for being pretty bad... I'm not so worried about it before the game with it being the first game of the year and all the tech fans expecting a big win.
That being said, I plan on getting seats as close to the exit as possible... if we are up by 10 in the 4th i won't be looking to stick around for the clock to hit 0's!

The Mustang Band will be in section 13, Stang fans in 116, not too far away. PONY UP!
