I do fear our new HD board is going to be poorly used with the "same old tired stuff." Please prove me wrong.

Your fears are probably founded. If it is still the same people as years past and like the people who run the basketball ops, we will intercept a pass late in the game and the crowd will be pumped and then they will go directly to an in stadium commercial to kill the MO.

They need to have more leeway with the game script, it's always been too rigid and doesn't take into account the flow of the game. If you've watched more than two sports games of any kind in your life, then you know when to pocket a commercial and play good music or show a video that will keep the crowd pumped.

If I wasn't so concerned with 'varding and continuing to imbibe through the game, I would volunteer my know-it-all-ness on gameday. Maybe I can direct from my seat with a headset?

The intro should have all of Rich’s Homer Calls of the Week, those always get me fired up.

In my opinion, the NBA Finals intro is by far the best I have seen. The real highlights incoroporated with the animation is pretty sweet.

Someone who is familiar with the Internets...

I fear 3 or 4 weeks might not be enough time to work up something up to our expectations, but it is a great idea to have an Intro and should be put on someone's TAR.

Doesn't Pat Summerall live in the area and have a production company? How cool would it be to have his voice announcing on the Intro.
