I thought so, too. He's probably gaining a lot of fans.

I watched the 6 pm Sept. 9 rerun and came away pleased with the presentation. I'm usually not a fan of these shows but it's a little different when it's the alma mater.

Banjo came across very well as did Pete Fleps. BTW, what I found interesteing was the interview with offensive lineman (whoever that was) coming off the field at Jones and telling the camera something like, "Well, we just have to move on, got a short week but we have to ready for UAB.'' That's how you have to approach that stuff. You just have to move on and get ready.

I also liked how Dennis McKnight used the example of that diving into the pool thing where there was one year where the Miami Dolphins did this? He mentioned one player, who couldn't swim, jumped in anyway because he knew his teammates would come to his aid.

Those kinds of things reveal how much you have to get it right in the locker room so it can be right on the field. And I challenge anyone to dismiss the value of that.

Let's have fun this season.

he was referring to Davone Bess' experience as a Hawaii player, now playing for the Dolphins.

I saw it the other night and was impressed w/Banjo, too. Also enjoyed the jumping off the platform part, too, and can see why that would be a huge team-bonding experience. It's great to see the exposure we are getting.
