Karma. Sorry coogs, blame Andre Ware. You don'y hang 90 points on a team coming back from the death penalty, run up the score on freakin' intramural players.

I'm glad Keenum and Turner are out. F 'em, and you shouldn't feel sorry for a Cougar. Ever.

I don't like seeing players get injured, but when they come from UH...well, it's not so bad.

And lots of inexperience. We have seen that before. Youth equals a limited, scaled down offense. The trade-off is turnovers.

When I first glanced at this, I thought it was in reference to Keenan Holman and Kelly Turner.

Sorry to hear that these guys are hurt, though.

Agree on the UH karma but you feel badly for any player that has a season ender....I frankly think we would kick their butt either way.

Now the school in general - especially the coaches that were anywhere near the stadium back in the day.....that is a different matter. I will never forgive that display of low class gooberism.

I basically agree. Too bad for the individuals and I wanted to beat them with Keenum. That being said F Houston, Pony Up.

I feel your pain. In this case, years later with different coaches and a different UH environment and a different conference, I have different emotions. At this point, I have more confidence in our team and I want our very good team to beat the best they can beat.

UH was the best in our conference thus far and I wanted our team to beat the best.

But I sure remember the dark years when people, like that arse, Grunt Taff, took advantage of us. Now Baylor, to me can't be beat by enough points in one single game. UH, cause of our conference alliance, has earned some slack in the vengeance variable.

But Baylor is the one game I hope and pray we are superior and JJ shows no mercy.

One... can't ... imagine... how much restraint ... went into my last post!!!!

Honestly, if we beat Baylor by 50 points every game for the rest of my natural life, it will not be enough!

What that arse Grunt did against basically a high school team is the ultimate in unsportsmanship.

They may have different coaches and players now, but they still
have the same bloodthirsty fans that were there that terrible night in 1989.

I was there and remember that game. The good, christian coach was having his team run it up because they could. I remember how furious I felt and I just kept saying "get your licks in now because one day...". I'm waiting for that day, 9/10/11.

Ponyte, my Dad felt the same way about Rice.......we were at a game in Houston and they were honoring past players and when 1 was introduced, my Dad booed him! He said that when that guy played he put a dirty, late hit on one of our players and our guy was out for the season. It is pretty scary how all of these players are getting hurt. Should they be wearing bigger pads? Anyway, I hate that anyone gets hurt and I wanted UH healthy so that when we put it to 'em, there could be no excuses.

I am sure UCF and some others might have something to say about that. We're going to have to fight hard to get there.
