I feel very strongly that Boise is the best team in the country right now. I'd probably rank them like this:

1. Boise State
2. Oregon
3. TCU
4. Utah
5. Alabama
6. Nebraska
7. Ohio State
8. Auburn
9. LSU
10. Oklahoma

Utah is scary good. I don't think their quarterback has thrown an interception yet.

Undercover frog Utah has not played anyone that good. Pitt is a nice win but it was only by 3 and it was at home. The other 4 games are UNLV 1-5, New Mexico 0-6, San Jose St 1-5, and Iowa St 3-3. They are not even a top 10 team.

There is no way for two teams to come out of the SEC undefeated due to divisional play and the championship game. You may have multiple teams with one loss, however. Which can get really interesting when the math starts working. Oregon can run the PAC-10 table and they get to go. Quite frankly the PAC 10 isn't that great, but its better than the WAC top to bottom. What would happen with a one loss SEC team, a no loss Nebraska team, a no loss TCU, Boise, Oregon and Ohio State. Then you'll see some fireworks.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I hate talking about strength of schedule for hours on end. It's tiring.

One point that does get overlooked is that strength of schedule doesn't mean much when you lose. Sure, they were a highly ranked team, and that highly ranked team was better than you. Move on.

If they keep talking about it and get tired of getting screwed by one loss, here's a thought....make your conference weaker! Tough [deleted] otherwise.

Ohio State is the only one of the group including BSU, TCU and Oregon that has a lame schedule to date, and the BCS simulations to date have the computers appropriately dinging them for it.

didnt Oregon cancel the home-and-home w/ BSU because of how they got spanked last year...the big dogs are afraid

how amazing would it be if BSU won the Nat. Championship AND the Heisman?...im rooting for that really hard.

Boise State should not be ranked even in the Top 10. I mean just look at their strength of schedule. Look at who they have played. Everybody says Virginia Tech and Oregon State are the toughest people they played all year, but they are nobody. And everybody always says that Boise State is soooooooo great because they beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl three years ago. That was 3 years ago, not now!!!!! If they played Auburn, LSU, or Ohio State, they would get the crap kicked out of them. I think that Boise State should not get a chance at the title and defintely should not be ranked number one in the country.

you underestimate Boise...they are a pretty solid team and could compete with anyone in the top 10 IMO. I have no problem with Auburn being #1 right now based on who they have beaten, but whether they get to play in the title game this year or not, an undefeated Boise deserves another shot at one of the BCS conference champs. So does TCU or Utah if they run the table

Lol...all bias aside? Seems that you have a grudge against TCU, otherwise why make this comment on a thread discussing BOISE?

Auburn right now should be #1 until proven otherwise. They have beaten four top 25 teams. Boise's weak schedule is what's killing them. The win over Virginia Tech is highly inflated, especially since the ACC has shown to be weak again this year. Boise and TCU are both top 6 teams, but neither team has played impressively enough to be numero uno.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.
