there is something not quite right about it this year.
i think we miss shawnberry very much. he gave us that added dimension.
hopefully fields will hit the field pretty soon. i have a feeling he could add a lot.

I'd also like to point out that I repeatedly predicted Padron to regress somewhat this year into a sophomore slump. The question is not about Padron underperforming, the question is why the offense isn't scoring when Padron's numbers are great looking. It's weird.

I know El Paso is a tough place to play, but we will win there, they're turrrrible. I think 8-4 is reasonable [lose to ECU], and hopefully we host the C-USA Championship Game.

Think, if we win Saturday, we essentially have a 2 game lead in our division.

I am confused...and yes a homer....what exactly is it that Line is not providing??? With all due respect to SM...he was not a blocker and his final stats are no better then where Line is at...
SM - 236 carries for 1188 yards
ZL - YTD 95 carries for 635...annualized...178 carries for 1180 yard...25% less carries for same amount of yards....and he keeps KP safe...Just disheartening to continually not give him credit and to push to have fields replace him as if Line is not delivering.

Your right...their is something not quite right about the run and shoot this year...the run is alive and well and can block as well. So glad JJ calls the shots and recognizes the value Line provides.

I prefer to applaud all of these guys for their play and the fact that they sit on top of the CUSA West in control of their destiny.
