Love the fact that JJ had JJ and KP rotating in the 3rd qtr. A gentle nudge to focus.

I didn't have PF during the game and didn't have a video feed. I listened to the game via the radio webcast. Thus, these observations are based on very limited information.

The run defense isn't what it was at the beginning of the year. We were studs against TTU and TCU but haven't been able to contain anyone from Navy on.

It sounded like our pass rush was stellar.

Line didn't sound very strong early but seem to run like a beast in the second half.

Padron sounded on and finally hit AR for a very big play. We needed that.

We overcame adversity. Three turnovers (one for a score) yet we still won. The D allowed basically 10 points. Even though Tulane ran for a bunch, we stopped them when we needed to stop them.

This was a good win. On the road and by the amount (or better) that we were predicted to win by. It didn’t sound like we had major injuries and the coaches trying some fresh faces may motivate others to play up to their potential.

I would be very interested in other’s’ observation, especially if one actually saw the game.

I was in Minneapolis getting ready to watch Ohio State 52, Minnesota 10  -- and was tracking the game tracker on ESPN. And that thing crapped out with 8:43 to play in the game when SMU led 24-17 and Tulane had the ball on the SMU 9....

I guess it was stuck there for 20 minutes, so I had no idea what happened until a friend called me and told me what happened.

But here's the thing: The last two times I've been in the Twin Cities to watch a Gopher game, SMU has won. AND I AM KEEPING THAT TRADITION GOING.

really thought we had no hope at 17-3. Played with zero heart or intensity to that point.
What a nice turn of events.

the fumble on the opening drive killed any momentum. We are having a real tough time with turnovers and penalties this year. Line needs to stop coughing it up.

Tulane really hurt themselves. They are a decent team, just can't seem to sustain a full ballgame.

My uncles went to the Gopher game as well. Same thing happened to me (the gamecast), and it was very frustrating. I had to call S...M...U... to ask what happened. It is a nice win, and seeing that UTEP is doing their usual UTEP second half collapse, we should beat them.
