There is constant chatter about Tulane building an on-campus facility.

There are multiple scenarios, but you have to believe that they could pull it off if they so chose to. Hope they do.

From the look of it on TV, I wouldn't have fathomed 60 people were there. I think those dark seats really camoflouge people, but the only time I was sure there were people there was when they zoomed in for closeups.

On TV it appeared that the only people there were the Mustang Band the teams and coaching staffs. Horrible setting with so few in the crowd.

Thanks for the link. Very interesting. Hadn't heard about their plans for an on-campus facility.
The Superdome is a great facility, but not for what Tulane football is. A streetcar ride to Uptown for a future SMU/Tulane game sounds good to me.

lots of similarities between Tulane and SMU and assuming we may both be slated for long term futures in CUSA or as conference mates wherever we play, I'd love to see them build a facility similar to what we have in Ford Stadium.

Agreed. They might be that if they take Saints home games and Tulane home games then just average the two together.

the two similarities is that SMU used to be led by a pinhead and Tulane still is.

A question is how Tulane can even SELL that many tickets.

It was that bad last year as well. UH had more fans than Tulane and there were similar comments about the atmosphere. A large Domed, off-campus stadium isn't the way to go.
