Whether you guys can stand his attitude or not, it's hard to argue that what Stallion is saying is correct.

TCU has pulled so far ahead of us in athletics it's not even close. We have a huge mountain to climb, and one of the key building blocks is getting into a better conference. We need to lobby hard along with UH and possibly Tulsa to get into something bigger when it comes available...a meltdown of the Big 12 with OU and A&M going to the SEC and Texas going indy might be our best option.

Look at our home schedule next year and tell me with a straight face that our average attendance isn't going to DECLINE at least 5-10%.

Did they show the home side or was it just the visitors side you saw on tv? When SMU played at UAB last year it was just a couple hundred people on the visitors side. 18,000 on the home side. Don't forget that is a large stadium and even 20,000 looks prety small so if everyone is on one side it is empty on the other.

TCU win percentage 2005-2010 is 83%

Granted, TCU has played in a lesser conference.
