I would stay at the Hotels across the street from the university .
Everything in walking distance .

Tailgate spots are all numbered stop by 33 I will give you the same hospitality I was show last year at your casa!

Geez they already have reservations at The Park Cities Hilton and the restaurant that you may try right in the area is Rathburns or Hillstone or R and D which are all local great haunts totally nearby and great food.
If you go up the Dallas North Tollway, which you will be right next to...go 4 miles to the Galleria Shopping Center area....great tourist area with shopping, restaurants etc.

there are $10 lots right by the Binkley Garage by the Engineering School on Airline. I haven't seen many people park there this year. Airline/Dyer street. That is about two blocks from the Blvd.

Ozona's is on Dyer and Greenville -- has a good bloody mary bar before the game and a decent spot for Breakfast/Brunch. You can also watch games there in the morning.

type in SMU in google maps and you'll get a nice map of campus and area.

When we were at Marshall last year, the fans were the most hospitable I've ever seen. Come by the BUS STOP (on the corner next to the "SPECIAL DELIVERY"tent) for free beverages and probably food. We are a hospitable bunch also.
Long live Inez Perez!

Hotel Lumen is right across Hillcrest from campus. It's actually a closer walk from there vs. the Hotel Palomar, and they are both Kimpton Hotels, so should be nice,

Check out Cafe R+D on Northwest Highway for dinner. North Park Mall (also on Northwest Hwy) or Highland Park Village (right next to SMU) for shopping. Abacus or Fearings for high-end restaurants. Nonna or Neighborhood Services for mid-price. SMU hang-outs: Milo Butterfinger's, Barley House, 1st and 10, Corner Bar

I dont mind rats.

Haha.

Thanks for all the great advice...going to spend time tomorrow at work looking at all those links.

We will have probably 20 or so tailgating in our group, so not sure what our plan there is yet.

Didnt realize Cowboy Stadium was so far away. Dont think I will waste the time going out there.

Guess I will sleep, eat, and drink, then sleep some more, and get up and go to the game.
