Yes, SMU was mentioned at some point in the broadcast.
Pretty sure they called him "SMU star Bryan McCann" or somesuch.

Boy do we miss him in the secondary, but great to see him make that play.

Outstanding play and lots of great experience tonight. I hope to see him for many years in an NFL jersey. Someday maybe we can see Sanders vs McCann. I just got back from Pittsburgh and it sounds like Sanders has won the job over that other rookie he was competing against every week.

I was out running around this afternoon and taped the game (thank God). But while I was out, I turned on the radio to hear the broadcast. I didnt' catch it live, but at halftime they replayed Brad Sham calling the play. It went something like this....

"Manning drops back, throws to the endzone, and it's picked off. Picked off by Bryan McCann. McCann to the 20. Bryan McCann FROM SMU to the 40, he's going all the way...."

It was totally awesome to hear Sham work in SMU on that call. He then spent the rest of the broadcast questioning why McCann wasn't back returning kicks, and joked that the Cowboys must not need those 101 yard type plays anymore.
