Because the map doesn't go south of Mockingbird, where they are just finishing the demolition of the Mrs. Bairds plant.

you think, or you know?
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

Turpin Stadium has already been built, right behind Crum.

It's being re-built. Current Turpin Stadium will be home to a parking garage and residence hall.

If you look at the presidential library plans, you will note that SMU Blvd. is proposed to have a curved alignment where it is currently as straight as an arrow. I would suspect they are closing it down to construct the revised layout for SMU Blvd.

Your suspicion is not only accurate, but correct and precise...and all the trees along SMU Blvd that have been tagged and bermed will be moved during the street's realignment (recurvement?) and put back in place once completed. Any tree that has not received that treatment is doomed. Doomed, I say.

Speaking of SMU Blvd - when is SMU going to use some of its vaunted Cox Business School Marketing Department and/or Meadows Corporate Communications clout and get TxDOT to put a Pony logo on that 75 overpass and maybe one or two others near us? Something like this, perhaps...?

Image

(Yes, I know this PS'd image is missing the "BLVD" - I removed the "Yale", so there's not even the hint of ghosting - Google is clearly a little behind in refreshing their street view along 75...)

Talk about great visibility and additional brand exposure for the school - it's hard to drive anywhere within 15-20 miles of Fet'vul and NOT see a Razorback on a bridge overpass.

PLUS, we've finally got the big SMU logo signs up on the nearby buildings that we own and those were used to great effect leading up to the TCU game. I wish they'd do more with that huge canvas, and more often, too. Missed opportunities for sure.

And NO, I will not accept any appointments to inquire as to why this hasn't been done yet. I've already been nominated for too many one-person committees as it is... :)
