Thanks.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Let's see...wearing their own colors, the Hawaii team lost their bowl game...sounds like a winner color combo.

I was well aware of that, but the truth is...I'm sure JJ would love to do something similar here as black is probably his favorite color and Hawaii has a fair amount of black in their unis. I'm just saying...

I'm going to enjoy even more when we see the Epic Fail the Blackout is on Thursday

See June Jones is forgetting we don't get to decide whether Festus and Shit-load get on the field but SMU fans do get to decide whether we wear school colors which last time I looked were Red and Blue

Well, since you are attacking me yet again. I have to say, that I can't ever remember seeing you wear any type of SMU shirts or jackets. And because you sit on the top row of 203, you have to walk past our group every game, by yourself as usual. By the way, the "delivery boys" purchased 20 tickets to the game, along with our usual 'Vard spot. What did you do, besides whine and talk tough, behind the anonymity and safety of the keyboard?

Still wondering why the football team wore red for the "blue out" against UH for homecoming.

That is why I shall wear traditional SMU garb and honor the military in other, more appropriate ways.

i don't mean to think too far ahead... but if SMU EVER wears maroon to honor the tamu corps of cadets or a purple mustang for the ft. worth frogs, i will officially revoke my SMU alumnus status and end my support of SMU football!
