Can anybody with better investigative and/or Photoshop-skills know how to get that picture of Blount from Texas Monthly alone, without the text.

I do not know Sherwood Blount but his direct involvement with SMU athletics was nearly 25 years ago. He was banned from any future involvement. Since that time his kids have attended smu and according to all reports, he remains a loyal SMU supporter. Why do you now want to slander this man and keep bringing up a past that hopefully was put to rest with Thaddeus' epic ESPN presentation.

The Mustang Militia works well and has many spin offs. The seating area is the barricks, boulevard is the mess hall and do not get thrown into the brig.

Fight the good fight

I think if you guys are trying to come up with a Sam's Army kind of thing, then George is right..Mustang Militia works well. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Do what Bob Beaudine would do. It's all about WHO you know...and you guys know BUS.

I guess I still don't get the Mustang Militia idea, I can come by and get Militia dogtags, but will you give me a ticket also? A season ticket? Please inform.

that's a thought...but the gist of my post had more to do with the title of the thread.

No need to re-invent the wheel

Whoa there partner, I'm simply repeating ideas that others are posting on this board, nothing been decided. I'm not "out to get" anyone, to embarrass anyone or to slander and I would certainly respect anyone's or anyone's family wish if they don't want to be associated with our group. This is a brain storming session.

It's just a little humor, not slander. Not many people hold any grudge against him on here.

I really like the Mustang Militia idea. Or to slam the NCAA we could call the group 'the selective enforcers" :)

This section should be as close to the student section as possible....They students that show do a pretty good job of being rowdy, it would be nice if you could be next to them....

You would probably have to decide what section first. Keep it simple. I am not sure if the diehards are going to give you their good seats but you could start small.

I can't remember if 200-201 doesn't require a donation. 109/209 would be good. Section 123? Sure would be nice if we could bring in noise makers.

Time has come to forget the past, start a new. - nothing Sherwood / death penalty related.

June's Army / Mustang Militia is good / Mustang Nation

I sit with a group in 203, and we are rowdy, I would like to sit in a rowdy section

depending on what section and if they were willing to move also.

or just pick a section and go with it. Then the PF can join in that designated section. As we know, you can take over a section at a lot of games if you'd like.

The player parents are usually in the first couple of rows in 101 or 102 I think. They get pretty animated.
