Never in my time in the history of PonyFans has a player done so little for SMU but received so much excessive attention.

I just don't get that.

Don't get me wrong, I wish him well wherever he is at. But like him, it's time for the SMU fans to move on.

I really hope this is the LAST thread we read about him. I totally understand the Bo Levi Mitchell threads.

Yeah, well, we have hoped that every thread we read about the Big 11, the Minnesota Yellow Rats, the UNLV Whogivesadamns, the Twins, various Girl Scouts/music schedules that keep you from SMU games, etc., is the last of those, but those keep coming back, ad nauseum.

At least Evan suited up for the Ponies. I wish him well, and I'll continue to check on him. ProudMama, please send Evan our best wishes.

I also appreciate hearing about Evan. Although I have never met him or his family, I feel as if I know them from his Mom's postings. I believe he is a good man who we should wish great success. As for what he gave to SMU, he added value to his class and that always helps a program. You don't have to be a star to contribute and deserve interest from the fans.
