Re: Armed Forces Bowl to stay at Ford in 2011so make sure you buy your seats fOR the bowl game even if SMU does not play in it. You can then sell your $ 50 seats for $ 350 In 104 and keep the change or apply it to your seat costs mustang club etc. STUBHUB

This is very true. Buy your tickets when you get the option. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Armed Forces Bowl to stay at Ford in 2011I believe it was season ticket holders that received the option to buy months in advance of the game.

Correct. I bought mine and was able to enjoy the bowl game from the comfort of my normal seats. Derail the Frogs!
Re: Armed Forces Bowl to stay at Ford in 2011
It's premature, of course, to speculate about which bowl we go to (although, how cool is it that we now assume we'll have a choice of WHICH bowl, rather than just getting to a bowl?) That said, if we have a choice, I seriously doubt we'll do Hawaii again. The school lost a fortune taking everyone out there, and many of our decisions are based on money only (see the scrapping of the marketing department). Plus, I wouldn't imagine anyone would want to face Hawaii on its home field. The Ponies were the darlings of the islands when we played Nevada, but against Hawaii, we'd be public enemy No. 1.

Mrydel and I were there.
Re: Armed Forces Bowl to stay at Ford in 2011I actually got much better seats through the athletic departments allocation than my usual season ticket seats.
OTP has a good idea about buying season ticket seats and selling them latter.
