Agree to some extent, but there's a lot to be said for the positional experience factor. If he has the natural instincts for LB, then it might not be a stretch. Given his history at RB, understanding angles, etc., he might very well be able to contribute soon.

It's an experiment. If anybody's getting switched right now it's going to be Pope. He's proved he can play at LB. Fields is just getting a tryout.

Based on the recruiting analysis I've seen-I doubt Moreland starts ANY game this year unless there is an injury. I do think he will quickly find the field in Pass Rush situations. My understanding is that he is not a polished prospect in some aspect of pass defense for example but he is superlative in rushing the passer. Only played 2 years of high school football.
